- Keep it short and sweet - less than two minutes is best.

- Want to edit your video? iMovie and Windows Movie Maker are easy, free tools already installed on most Macintosh and Windows computers.

- Save your video in file format AVI, MOV or .DV.
(Most digital still cameras save video in either AVI or MOV format.)
 
- Avoid compressing your video before uploading it -- it will look better after it is published if it wasn't compressed.
