The Illusion Collar

Fans of Cesar Millan’s “Dog Whisperer” television series are already familiar with the Illusion Collar and Leash set. If you have a dog that is difficult to walk, you’ll love having this training collar yourself, whether you are familiar with the show or not.

This cleverly designed collar is made to prevent the pulling that makes walking your dog more of a chore than a relaxing diversion. The key to success with this training collar is that it allows you to easily give a firm yet gentle correction without having to readjust your dog’s collar after each correction. Its unique style helps the collar to stay put with the slip collar positioned behind the ears.

A proper correction is given with a quick pop of the leash, with an immediate release. In this way, your dog gets the message: no pulling allowed. Traditional training collars have the tendency to fall from their correct position (behind the ears) to an ineffective position (around the base of your dog’s neck). The Illusion Collar makes training easier because your dog always gets the right correction without you needing to constantly readjust.

Keep in mind, this collar and leash set are for training purposes only. It is not intended to be worn all the time. Any slip-style collar can be dangerous if it is left on all the time. If your dog gets caught on something while wearing a slip collar, he can injure his throat at the very least. At worst, he can strangle himself.

The Illusion Collar and Leash set will work for most dogs. It is available in small, medium and large. However, if your dog is less than 18 pounds or has a neck that measures smaller than 13 inches, this is not the right collar for you.
