We specialize in the rescue and adoption of small dogs, but do at times rescue larger dogs and even cats.
Serve Areas: 
We rescue within a 50-mile radius of Mooresville, NC. We try to adopt within North Carolina, but will at times adopt out-of-state.
Adoption Process: 
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, the first step is to complete and submit an application. Please e-mail us at foreverhomeK9rescue@yahoo.com to request the application, which can be e-mailed back or faxed to us. A FHCR volunteer will contact you, and then arrangements can be made to meet the pet through the foster home. There is an adoption fee required for each pet, along with a contract. We offer a 3-week trial adoption period with all our adoptions to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The adoption fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that our pets will have their perfect "forever" homes!
