Adoption Process:
The Adoption Contract states that any pet adopted from the Fayette County Animal Control Center must be provided with proper food, water, adequate shelter, veterinary examinations and vaccinations, and treated kindly at all times. The pet is not allowed to breed and will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. The pet is to be licensed in compliance with the laws and ordinaces enforced within the county or municipality in which the adopter resides. The pet is to be returned to the FCACC if the adopter can no longer keep or care for the pet. Also, there are NO-REFUNDS on the deposit, adoption or sterilization of any pet. Failure to comply with all the Adoption Contract stipulations, shall constitute in a "breach of contract" and legal action shall be taken towards the adopter. Javascript is required to view this map.
