Rose will be at the PAW Festival this weekend, Saturday the 13th. For information about the festival, go to the BARK Rescue site:http://www.barkrescue.net/pawfestival.htmIf you'd like to meet her, stop by the Sedtal Rodent Rescue table!!
Rose is a very, very sweet orange rex rabbit who wasn't receiving enough attention, so she was turned over to us. She's about 6 lbs. and a little bit overweight, but she'll lose that in no time now that she's being fed properly. Rose absolutely loves attention! She lives in a pen in our living room and whenever she sees us nearby, she puts her paws up on the gate to get our attention. If that doesn't work, she runs around and stomps her foot! She is really a character. When we sit down to pet her, she will sit there as long as we will, just enjoying being loved on. She's a really laid back bunny. She tolerates being held, but like most bunnies she would rather be left on the ground. She does great with my small children (both of whom are very respectful), so she would make a great pet for a family with kids as long as her care is closely supervised by a responsible adult. Rose's litter box training is coming along very well.We are going to have Rose spayed before she's available for adoption. Her adoption fee is $60.
