Description:
ADOPT BETTY!!BETTY AND BARNEY ARE A BONDED PAIRTHEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHERNotes from foster home: Betty and Barney are playful and active, but not hyperactive. Barney is the extrovert, Betty is more introverted. They both enjoy chewing on their wooden toys. The like being petted and even brushed while eating. Both bunnies are well litter-box trained, even leaving the salad bowl to use the litter box. Their special food treats are Green Leaf, Romaine, and Escarole lettuces, as well as diced celery and the occasional carrot.HOME SWEET HOME (HOUSING): Indoors only! There are predators outdoors and it is not safe for me. A cage and an indoor 'bunny proofed' area to explore are acceptable. BUNNY BATHROOM: Litter box (one for inside the cage and one for exercise area). AVOID cedar or pine shavings - they are hazardous to my healthBUN APPETIT'' (DIET): Unlimited fresh water, timothy hay, dark leafy greens & one quarter cup of pellets per 5 lb body weight. HANDLING: Rabbits are ground loving creatures so not all rabbits tolerate being heldWHAT''S UP DOC? (HEALTHCARE): Rabbits should have an annual checkup and may require teeth trims. A veteriaranian specializing in exotic pet care is needed. You are welcome to visit me at the Western PA Humane Society Adoption Center everyday. On Saturdays (2pm - 4:30pm), join in the 'Bunny Romps' where we buns have fun! The 'Bunny Romps' provide a large playroom where you can interact with us and learn about our needs and care after adoption.Adoption Fee for Betty and Barney: $50.00 + tax
