Marquis came to MHRR in April 2008 when she was part of a 'down-sizing' of pets when the kids all moved to college.Marquis is a sweet rabbit who is a bit aloof! She likes head rubs, is OK about being held, and is a treat fiend! She eats and drinks a LOT, which is a good thing when it comes to her hay. She is medium-sized and does very well with her litterbox. She gets a little crazy when she gets to go out into the exercise pens - she is very entertaining! Marquis is NOT tattooed.Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $75 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets. All rabbits are now tattooed 'MHR' in the ear (while under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted unless our veterinarian recommends against it because of age or illness. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and packet, as well as an adoption basket with a supply of their current diet and a toy.
