See Quick Sabra's Homepage Sabra is a 15.3 hand standardbred mare that loves people. She raced until she was 10 at various tracks along the east coast. She is now 20 and retired as a family pet. Her owners can not keep her because the training track they have several of their racehorses at is closing (Rosecroft) and they have to bring the track horses home. Sabra needs to find a nice quiet new home. She loves to be groomed. She has a very nice disposition. She is intuitive and kind. She has an old Left hind tendon injury that would keep her riding exercise down to once or twice a week but she loves to go for rides (she rides and drives). She is safe for knowledgeable beginners. She is a nice big boned solid mare. Loads, ties, great for farrier. Sabra is a trotter and does not canter. So if you are looking for a safe trail horse for weekly rides that has a nice smooth fast walk and you dont have to worry about her galloping off with you she could be just what you are looking for.
