We have 12 baby hamsters. Right now, we are thinking there are 8 females and 4 males. We have 7 solid white, 2 tan, and 3 tan, brown & black. The hamsters are eating on their own and ready to go to new homes. They have been handled since they were just a couple of weeks old., and are very familiar with people. Hamsters are great for older kids or adults. Hamsters do NOT make good pets for young kids (less than 6 years old). You must have an appropriate cage with wheel before adopting. Hamsters can eat and need fresh fruits & veggies (no chocolate, avacado, alcohol) in addition to hamster food. They also need items to chew on (wood toys, etc).
