Description:
TippieToes is a silver sweetie with a sad story. She came to our shelter a while back, and seemed to be fine at first. Then a few weeks ago, she started favoring her right leg. We had her examined, and it was discovered that she had torn her ACL, one of the crucial ligaments in her knee. Since ferrets are such small animals, it was unsure as to whether surgery could fix it. But our brave volunteer vets did surgery at our on-site facility, and she is now well on her way to recovery! She is one of our best success stories. This miracle kid is 3 years old and has two adorable rings around her tail. In spite of her injury, she has a remarkably sweet demeanor and is very human and ferret social.
