Beefy is a 2-year-old guy who has had a pretty raw deal so far. He was sold on Craigslist to someone who had to give him up because of allergies. All of this bouncing around homes has made him quite nervous and even ill (ferrets can be very sensitive animals!). He is still a bit skinny, but we are working on putting weight on him and keeping him from getting ulcers. If you are thinking about adopting or fostering him, you will need to know about giving medications and feeding ferrets with special needs. In spite of his skinniness, Beefy is still handsome and sweet. When I go to his cage, he greets me with a gentle sniff and bright eyes. Beefy
