Description:
Sprocket is a year old Yorkie/Crested mix. He was found running free on the streets in the dead of winter severly underweight. He's doing fine now, gaining some weight. He should be about the 8-10lb range when he's at full weight. He's very very cute and has the cutest little blond mohawk that will just make you smile when you see him.
Sprocket is very loving and very energetic and loves to be held, he does however suffer from little dog syndrome where he thinks he's alot bigger than he is and because of that he could get himself in trouble with a bigger dog that doesn't quite understand that Sprocket isn't as tough as acts. This means if he goes to a home with another dog it will need to be a smaller dog or a dog that doesn't mind a dominant little guy coming into the household. He is currently in a foster home with two other small male dogs and is doing fine. He has also been tested with toddlers and he does fine although he'd probably prefer to go to a home with an older child who will be more gentle with him.
If you are intersted in Sprocket, please complete our on line adoption application or contact us for more information.
While Sprocket is part of our program, he is not housed in our facility so if you are interested in meeting Sprocket, please contact us in advance so we can arrange a time when you can meet him.
