Nonie came to us as a neglect case. She ran freely in a yard 15 feet from a very busy road. She has been hit by cars and still bares the surface scars from asphalt burn on her face. We have had her treated for fleas and ticks, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and spayed. This sweet girl is only about 1.5 yrs. old. She has had several litters with the majority of the pups being run over. (We do have two surviving pups, Laney and Riley.) She's been through a lot and deserves so much better! Nonie needs a foster!
Foster Mom says: Nonie ia one of the best housedogs I've ever fostered. She is very calm, sweet natured and minds well. She is completely housebroke. She will go to the door when she needs to go outside. She is bonding very well and wants to be at my side at all times. But she shows no signs of separation anxiety when I have to leave her alone to out for a bit. She gets along well with all the dogs and cats. She lets the cats rub all over her and sleep beside her. If I throw treats to the animals and one of the cats jump in to get the treat she will step back and let them have it. We are now working on commands with her. In no time Nonie will get an A+ for being one of the most well mannered and well rounded dogs I've seen.
