Description:
Thank you for considering adopting one of our special babies! Just drop us an email at leflorepets@bellsouth.net Artie is a real goog looking guy. He is about 8 weeks old and weighs about 9 pounds. Persons adopting pets must be 18 years of age or older. All female animals must be spayed by 6 months of age. All male animals must be neutered by 6 months of age. For the safety of the pet, no animals will be allowed to roam at large. A fenced yard suitable to the animal’s size is required for dogs. No dogs are allowed to be kept on chains. The fence required may be waived for cats and small dogs less than 25 pounds being adopted as house pets. If you rent, you must have written permission from your landlord, or we must be able to verify pet policy by phone. Animals may not be adopted as gifts for someone outside the immediate family without that person’s knowledge. Gift certificates are available. No dogs will be adopted out as guard dogs at a business. No cats will be adopted solely as a mouser. By adopting an animal, you are giving the Leflore County Humane Society permission to check on its welfare and to assure that all adoption policies are being met. If at any time you cannot care for the pet you adopted, it must be returned to LCHS. All adoptions are made at the discretion of LCHS, and an adoption may be denied at the staff’s discretion.
