Description:
Sonny is an approx. 6 year old male tri-colored wire fox terrier. He is a happy boy, hasn't had an accident in the house (but may need a refresher if he is in all day) and is good on leash. He would love to have his own home where he can come in and play and snuggle. He is good with older children but younger children are not recommended due to his hearing loss. Cats are an unknown. He does not appear to be reactive around other dogs but would likely do best as a single dog. Sonny was found as a stray in Sacramento, where he is being fostered. Sonny needs a vet check and then he will be ready to go home. Download an adoption application:WordPDFText American Fox Terrier Rescue is all volunteer and funded by charitable contributions. All dogs represented by American Fox Terrier Rescue are spayed or neutered prior to placement, unless there are valid health reasons preventing the procedure (i.e., puppies under six months of age). For those adopting a dog that is not neutered or spayed due to these health reasons, an American Fox Terrier Rescue volunteer will work closely with you, checking with you and your vet to ensure the procedure is done on a timely basis.
