10/15/09 - Morton is a 4 year old boy who came into rescue after his owner had a stroke and can no longer care for him properly. They are selling their home to move into a facility that can accommodate their special needs. Morton would LOVE to hunt if that is your thing, if not he'd enjoy being your running or hiking companion. His owner is very sad to have to let go of his 'boy' but Morton needs more than he can offer (exercise) and finding him a new loving home is the only way to accomplish that. The owner told us that Morton is a very good boy and he needs an equally good home. He does not like storms or the 4th of July, he steal covers and hogs the bed when possible. Otherwise, he sleeps in a kennel and he'd appreciate a never ending supply of bones. He is not bothered by gunfire and he loves to hunt. Morton was well cared for and VERY loved, he'd like an equally loving home in Colorado! Please fill out an application through MHWR today if you'd like to adopt or foster Morton.
