Wake up Goody- you're not in Kansas anymore! Goody now called 'Cali' has had a HARD life; she was most likely an outdoor dog who ran away looking for a new family and a better life. She has some broken teeth, a bad coat and Miss Cali is very thin. Just look at her sweet and forgiving eyes and your heart will melt. We are so glad that she clicked her heels, (three times) and woke up safely in Denver...there is no place like home 'Goody' and we promise to find one an amazing one for you! 10/26- Update from her foster mom: She is a total sweetheart that loves dog park, treats and homemade food (not too often). She has already gained a few pounds and enjoys her three meals a day. She gets along with our dog Cooper as well as every dog in the dog park. She is very loving and craves attention. She would stay right by my side in the dog park instead of playing with other dogs so she is a little shy. I have never seen Cali wonder too far away from me while in the dog park in fact she would be touching my hand while walking and would want to be petted on her head while walking. She is being crate trained at the moment but really does not enjoy it. Not sure if she is house trained yet, since we crate her for the night and we do not leave her unattended walking around the house during the day. She is surprisingly low energy weir. Cali walks BEAUTIFULLY on the leash (must have been trained in the past).
