Description:
My name is Faith. I am a 5 yo blue weim mix, but mostly weim as you can see by the pictures. I was dropped off on the side of the road with my 11 puppies. A nice woman called my foster mom who took me in and now I am living in a nice home, but am looking for a forever home. I am great with kids, other dogs and cats. I am very submissive and shy at first since I have been abused and shot at, but will warm up very quickly. I am house-broken, crate-trained and do not have any bad habits, like jumping. I am very easy-going and would love to find a loving family to call my own. Faith is a courtesy listing for Weim. Rescue based in Al. Her foster home is in Baton Rouge, LA. She's being posted on our site since most people going to theirs only want a pure weim. Faith has been in her foster home for approx. 8 months and has turned into such an amazing, beautiful calm dog. She's 35lbs and heartworm negative..When Weim Rescue took her in, she was living under a mobile home and running out on the hwy frequently. They saved her from certain death and gave her a second chance at life. Now she just needs her forever home. She would be excellent for someone with children. For more information please send me an email and i'll forward it to her foster mom.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All dogs need regular vigorous exercise. They also should be obedience trained and have an owner that knows how to be a true pack leader. We will only consider adopting to people willing to give the proper care and leadership that all dogs need.
