When Boots was rescued she, her daughter and another little dog all lived together in an outdoor pen. They had never seen a vet or had the pleasure of snuggling up to their human on the couch or in the bed. Because of her hard lifestyle, Boots was heartworm positive and had to undergo the expensive and painful treatment after finally being taken in.
Boots has recovered fully from her heartworms and has taken to livin indoors very well. She slept in the bed with her new foster mom the very first night!! Boots would love to find her forever home as soon as possible. She is great with other dogs but has not been exposed to children or cats in her foster home. She is spayed and up to date on routing vaccinations. Boots weighs less than 10 pounds and can be a little shy with people she has not met before. She is not nippy or ag\gresive in any way but takes a few minutes to warm up to strangers.
