Description:
Please contact Laurie (lauriebleier@nyc.rr.com) for more information about this pet. Please call the number below in the description to make an appointment to meet this pet. On Monday, February 15, Valentine's Day came one day later for this neglected, abandoned pooch from Bedford-Stuyvesant. This past Monday, late afternoon, BAFN was notified by concerned neighbors that a dog was left starved and abandoned in an empty apartment next door to them. They could hear her crying and whimpering from the fire escape. The window had thankfully been left open by her uncaring humans, who could care less that there was no heat in the dark, freezing apartment. After a trip to the roof and a steep climb down a very scary ladder and through the open window, we were able to get the girl out through the building and down to the street below. We wish you were there to see a very delighted little lady whose tail wagged fast enough to light a Petco. We rushed her to the vet's office before they closed, as we had nowhere to put her but in Boarding. We needed to bring her up to date on shots fast. Valentine has nicely settled in and and she has an unbelievable capacity to love. Check out her video. Valentine plays too rough and would be better off as an only child. Valentine would love to meet you in Park Slope, Brooklyn. To foster this pet please fill out the application to foster by clicking here.
