Max is about 2-3 years old and was found running the streets and was taken in by a gracious family who traced down his owners. Turns out they did not want him anymore and had let him go. The foster family has fallen in love with him but cannot keep him. They say he is a sweet boy and wonderful with children. He had been kept confined in a crate in his prior home and well, he is a husky so he was bored and would dig out. He loves running with his foster Mom and she tires him out on her long jogs!! He knows basic commands giving his paw and he knows sit and is also housetrained. He is great with other dogs but chases his foster Mom's miniature pony around ( maybe he wanted a pony ride?) Max will be neutered on 8/26/2009 and vet checked and up to date on his shots. Max is very lucky to have found someone as gracious as his foster Mom to take him in, he would have wound up in a local shelter if it weren't for her. Remember, one animal rescued from a shelter saves 2 lives..... Visit www.SiberianRescue.com for more information about this wonderful breed. They require a lot of exercise with a fenced in yard, minimum 6 feet tall.
