Description:
We work in eastern PA, southern NJ, and parts of MD and DE depending on distance. Our foster dogs live in the private homes of our volunteers. We do not have a kennel facility where the public can visit our foster dogs. Our foster dogs are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and house trained (or working on it) at the time of adoption. Yukon is a big, sweet, handsome puppy. He weighs 65 pounds and is not overweight. When I first met him he nearly bowled me over and washed my face, ears, and glasses. He did not know any basic manners or commands, but is learning very quickly. Certainly, no one had taken any time with this boy to teach him much. He pulled like a mule, but is getting much better on leash with practice and training. He doesn't seem to mind being touched anywhere or have things taken away from him. He’s just a big, sweet, red and white goofball who wants to please people. He gets along well with our younger dogs and is very playful. He is a bit overwhelming for older dogs. Yukon has a high prey drive so he cannot go to a home with cats, small dogs or other small animals. We do not have a kennel facility, our foster dogs live in the homes of our volunteers.
