Description:
4-11-09 Poor Buster, he is back in rescue. He was just a little too active for the 3 1/2 yr old child but they said he was a great dog! Please be prepared for these challenges when adopting and make sure you are committed as it is so hard on them when they are returned! It can take a little time for any new pet to settle into your routine and learn what is expected of them. 4-4-09 Buster went home today to a fenced yard and a child to grow up with!!!3-13-09 Buster just arrived and was an owner surrender. His parents have separated and neither is able to keep him. He has always been well cared for and loved. Really cute young guy just over a year old and 50# so not overly big. We are calling him a Heagle, Busky, Hugle or how about a Siberian beagle? Check out his beautiful blue eyes! Whatever you call him he seems to be a very nice dog. So far has gotten along with all the other dogs and wasn't overly interested in the dog savvy cats but might chase if they run? Already neutered and we have had him micro-chipped. He is now current on all vaccines, heartworm tested, frontlined and wormed. He is a vocal guy who does alot of 'talking' so keep this in mind. This is no couch potato and will need either a fenced yard or lots of walks and would love another friendly dog to play with. He does need work on his leash manners but is a very friendly, social dog who likes everyone he meets. Might knock over small kids in his excitement, after all he is still just a puppy but would be great with children a little older. House broken but may have an accident or two until he settles in. E-mail for an application. We do not adopt to outdoor only homes. This guy needs to be a real family member!
