Description:
Best Friends of Baker ~ Forever Homes for Pets
Charming little Harley is a one year old Shih Tzu. He was found in a ditch on a very cold night; his long hair matted, uncared for and he was very thin. How he got so far out of town is a mystery but Harley is grateful to the family who plucked him out of the ditch and brought him to town. He is currently in a foster home with an old Poodle, a small mixed breed and another Shih Tzu. Harley has had an injury to his hind quarters but he is making excellent progress and getting stronger every day. At first the steps were difficult but he is now racing up and down with the other dogs. Harley loves to fetch the ball, especially squeaky ones, pounce on stuffed toys, play tug of war with his stuffed toys and run after his roommates. Harley has learned to use the doggie door and is housetrained. He is very loving and enjoys a nice lap to snuggle on. Harley has large beautiful brown eyes and is very expressive. He loves riding in the car and is a good traveler. Harley would enjoy a leisurely walk if it was not too long. Harley wants to find a forever home and hopes there will be another playful companion for him and a person(s) that will take good care of him. He does not want to be left outside again. Harley needs a fenced yard. He is very proud of his new haircut and would like to show it off.
