Description:
Deon was adopted and returned due to job loss. 6 1/2 months old now --- will be neutered at 8 months by me or by new owner. Email for more info. Adopt. fee: $400. Deon is 15 weeks old. His mother is a purebred Shih Tzu and his dad is a Toy Poodle. I got mom and babies when they were a week old because the mom and the human careteakers were not taking care of the pups properly and they were hungry, had diarrhea and were dehydrated. With tube feeding and sub q fluids, the pups turned around very quickly and are wonderfully happy and healthy. Their mom was bred on her first heat cycle by accident when the neighbor's Poodle boy climbed the fence.Deon is very gorgeous --- he has a long, stout Shih Tzu body and has a gorgeous coat consisting of soft, relaxed curls. Deon will probably be around 10 to 12 pounds when mature.Requirements to adopt:1. Looking for family who is aware of the dangers of over-vaccinating pets and the long term health affects of juvenile spaying and neutering. I will be happy to send materials to you so you can understand why so many of our pets have allergies, cancer and many other problems that can be traced to combination vaccines and making it worse with annual boosters.I do not recommend neutering until the puppy is at least one year of age. I will be happy to provide anyone interested in learning more about how to keep your pets healthy by forwarding literature, studies and articles if requested.2. I hope to find a home that has at least one family member home most of the time. No toddlers, no aggressive breed dogs and no intact females in the home.3. Deon is paper trained right now and should make the adjustment to pee pads and/or outdoor training very easily.Deon's adoption fee is $400. Deon's puppy vaccinations will be completed on 3/14. He will need to get started on heartworm prevention meds on May 1. I do not recommend neutering until the puppy is at least one year of age.If you are interested in this gorgeous baby, please contact me by email and I will be happy to discuss adoption procedures with you.
