Crossroads rescued our Mom, Wendy - a beagle mix - and Dad, Patrick - a Gray and White Shih Tzu - from a not so nice living situation. A week after mom was settled in to her new foster home she decided it was time to have us. On March 5, Mom had to be rushed to the vet for an emergency c-section. We are very thankful for Crossroads saving mom and dad and, in turn, saving us. We really do love our foster home, but it is time to start looking for homes of our own. We have had our first set of shots and will be altered and microchipped on May 8. Our adoption fee is $350 which will also include our remaining shots. We will be available for adoption after May 15 when we make our first public appearance at Tucker’s Doggie Delights in New Lenox, IL. If you are interested in adopting us please complete and adoption application. Our parents, Wendy and Patrick are also looking for their forever homes. Avery (boy) – I am the one that seems to have the most energy. I love to roll on my back and just romp around. I look different than the rest of my siblings as my coat is white with big black spots while everyone else looks like they are gray with lots of little spots. Troy (boy) – my foster family calls me “chunky monkey” because I am the biggest one of all. I have been that way since I was born. I am the big teddy bear of the group and like to just hang out watching everything going on. Phoebe (girl) – I’m still trying to decide if I want to be mischievous or the quiet one. Violet (girl) – I am a quiet one and can be found snuggling with my sister Phoebe. I have unique coloring on my face as half of it looks black. Annabelle (girl) – I am the one the vet thought hadn’t made it through the birth. I proved him wrong and let out a squeal shortly after he pulled me from mom’s tummy. I have been making sure everyone knows I am around.
