Dax is a three year old male, Shiba Inu who came to Second Chance because he was abandoned in a burned-out house. Bennington Animal control took him in and provided for his care for the allotted five days and then surrendered him to SCAC. An independent little guy, Dax is interested in all new sounds and stimuli. Plucky and full of pep, Dax is a dog who is very happy to be alive and with his independent nature, he feels that he can certainly take care of himself. Having a defined job to do would be the best thing for Dax, since he is so spirited, active and smart. By utilizing his intelligence and harnessing his energy and drive, one could do some amazing things from with Dax, anywhere from agility to competitive obedience!
