Description:
Ariel is a 1yo female sheltie mix who was rescued as a stray in rural TN. Ariel is friendly and well-socialized with a medium activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Knows basic commands. Housebroken and crate-trained. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking. Weighs about 40#, healthy, altered and utd on shots. Here's a note from her foster mom: ' Ariel is just about a year old and her breed is questionable. I see a sheltie shepherd mix but I saw her before she was shaved due to a neck-to-tail solid mat. Her hair was long and fluffy like her face and tail. She was wandering up a highway in rural Tennessee... hungry, scared, with big mats all over her coat. We had her shaved right away and now she looks like a fox! LOL! Ariel is gaining weight and having the time of her life with all these dogs around here. Uses the doggie door and no accidents in the house. Although she's about a year old, Ariel still has a lot of puppy in her and can't resist grabbing a shoe or a plastic flowerpot and running with it once in a while. She's very smart and am learning the ropes quick but still have that little mischievous streak now and then. This is a super little dog who deserves a family who will never abandon her again.'To adopt please fill out an adoption application. For more information about our adoption procedures and fees, please visit our homepage at Good Dog Rescue. For more information or if your have questions email us at info@gooddogrescue.com.
