She is smart, and will learn from an attentive leader. She can sit, shake and stay, and is trained to confine her business to a paved/graveled section of the yard. She is an excellent guard dog, as she will bark when strangers enter the property or come to the door, but will quiet down as soon as she knows they are welcome. She enjoys being outdoors most of the day, and does not bark or whine when left alone, though she is always eager for attention and company. She can be selective with her canine friends and cannot share a home with cats.
