Kenya will make a wonderful addition to any family! This poor girl was found tied to the bumper of a car. Her owners could no longer care for her, so they felt that it was in her best interest to tie her to a known rescuer's car and that she'd be safe. As sad and pathetic as it was...she is indeed safe! Kenya is a beautiful red color and although we aren't sure of her breed, we think she is some type of little shepherd/lab type mix. She is about two and a half years old and still acts like a puppy! Kenya has a very sweet disposition and likes people, other dogs, and cats. She is fully house trained, likes to play, and is not willful about destroying things. She is pretty good about leaving non-dog things alone around the house like pillows, socks, shoes, etc. Kenya likes green apples and dog treats. She can sit, high five, lie down on command...when she wants to. Now, Kenya is an ACTIVE dog and needs an active household. She is good with kids, but should go with older kids because she will knock little ones over. A home with someone that runs every day would be perfect for her!!! The one thing about Kenya that you is important to know is that she is fearful of strangers, so a home with children and people coming through often would not be the best home for her. If her bio sounds like she may be a good match for your family, please fill out a questionnaire on our website below.
