Personality I am a Shar Pei/Shepherd mix. I am a very sweet and loving girl and want nothing more than to be with my humans all the time! I know sit and come and my foster parents have dog door trained me as well! I am very food and attention motivated so I will learn new things quickly if rewarded. I am very mellow and like lying near you. I can be playful with getting attention from my family and I love to give kisses once I am comfortable with new people. I was an only dog and I only had a mom and dad so I don’t know if I would do well with kids or not. I have the wrinkled skin of the Shar Pei, my tail is even wrinkled, but I have the coloring of a German Shepherd so I am a very gorgeous girl. Socialization Does the dog like other pets? I love to play with my foster dad, but I don’t know if I would get along well with other dogs, but we can try if you are willing to go slow and let me get used to new dogs. Does the dog like children? I would do better with older children because I haven’t been around kids in my life. My foster family doesn't have any children, so I'm not used to the little ones. General social placement notes: A home with dogs and older children would be okay if I have a chance to slowly get to know them. Favorite Toys: I love to relax on my dog bed and play with my humans! I am learning to play with toys. I do really well in the car, too. Forever Home: I was an only dog, but I have learned to like male dogs that I have been gently introduced to. I really love spending time with my human’s and love car rides so we can do the errands together and spend time together. I like to go outside with my family and I run to the door and paw toward the door until they go outside with me. Then we spend time exploring and playing.
