Description:
Best Friends of Baker ~ Forever Homes for Pets Pepper is a 4 year old purebred Schnauzer that needs a new home. Pepper is house trained and has been an indoor/outdoor dog. Pepper has been in his family since August and has not done well. He recently snapped at a toddler in fear, not aggression. His owners now want to find a home for him without small children. Pepper has been with adults, other dogs and has absolutely no problem with cats. Pepper needs to find a 'forever' home with adults only to guarantee that he does not have anymore problems with little ones. Pepper is presently living in a foster home with two adults, 2 other dogs and 2 cats and doing very well. He and the little dog run and play all day long chasing toys and playing tug-a-war. They love to be outside in the snow and then curl up together for a nap to warm up. When the light go out at night, he is down for the night. Pepper needs to have a tall secure fenced yard for his safety as he is an escape artist and can jump most short fences. Pepper needs to find a family without young children. The family needs to have plenty of time to spend with Pepper while he transitions into a new 'forever' home. He does not do well when he is left alone. He wants to be with his humans. Pepper is current on his vaccinations and is neutered and ready to go to a new home. He will soon have a haircut and new pictures. Please watch for Pepper's new look!
