Please contact Shelly (Schnzlove@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.
Spring is an adorable 20-lb black Schnoodle who is sweet, loving, eager to please (and therefore relatively easy to train), intelligent, playful, very active, and she does not act our veterinarian estimated age of 6 years. Her foster mom reports she lives up to her name, as she is quite the bouncy girl. It does not appear that she has had any type of training, but she is responding well to clicker training with copious praise as positive reinforcement rewards. She has shown no signs of food or toy aggression. She likes nothing better than a good run, a gentle body rub or lying on the sofa or bed with her foster mom as she watches TV or reads. Spring is a true terrier and will need an adoptive parent who is experienced with this type of dog. Spring will require an owner who provides consistent training, so she will know what is expected of her. Also, Spring would benefit from appropriate challenges. These training exercises will help Spring to increase her confidence and help her feel secure. She was somewhat underweight when she came to us and needs to gain a few pounds before she is ready to be adopted. Our veterinary examination on May 8 revealed a few mammary tumors that need to be removed in the near future. If you and/or your friends and/or family would like to make a donation towards her surgery please contact the rescue at email@example.com or 413-967-3044. The sooner we are able to raise money for Spring's surgery, the sooner she can have this necessary care and be able to move on to her forever home. Thank you, from Spring! Spring is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
