Description:
SADIE: Is a lifetime rescue resident. Female, senior, in a foster home in O’Fallon, IL. Sadie really is a classy lady. She can flip on her back for a belly scratch faster than any dog I’ve been around! She is house trained, crate trained and couch trained (cuddling on the couch). She can be fussy with other dogs trying to horn in on her space when she is on the couch or in your lap, so a one dog household would probably work best for her. Sadie’s health is good for her age, which we guess at around 10 or more. She can still move well and only has a hint of stiffness first thing in the morning. All this is amazing as Sadie was found abandoned in a huge nature preserve in Missouri in the middle of nowhere. She was covered in ticks, fleas and other vermin and severely malnourished. She has made a remarkable recovery and deserves to be treated like the queen she is. Sadie is in foster care in Southern Illinois.
