Description:
Peanut is a really sweet affectionate girl. Her owner was hospitalized and no longer able to care for her. She was at the shelter and was on the euthanasia list when she was rescued. Peanut is active girl - she likes going for walks and helping to wash the car (photo above). She is a good watch dog but not aggressive. She does not bark unless someone is at the door, etc. She loves to sit in your lap and be scratched. Peanut gets along with other dogs and cats but is just as happy being the sole center of attention. She gets along well with children (although I have not had her around children under the age of 10 years of age). Peanut tolerates nail trims. She does not mind being in a crate and will jump right in for a treat. Peanut is not a chewer. She also loves to go for a ride in the car. Peanut is currently being housed in the Louisville, KY area.
