WHAT AN AWESOME DOG! Layla is a 2yo female purebred saint bernard who was surrendered by her owner in rural TN who had fallen on hard times and could no longer afford to care for her. Layla had a litter of puppies mid-October, a cute bunch of little mixes and they were given away to local families and Layla found her way to the rescue group. Layla is friendly and well-socialized with a low activity level. She goes outside to do her business and then comes right back in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Housebroken but doesn't need crating. Very obedient and eager to please. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing, chewing or barking. Weighs about 100#, healthy, altered and utd on shots. Due to having pups recently, Layla is underweight and her coat is thin but she's eating well and will soon be filled out and beautiful again. Here's a note from the foster mom: 'I can't say enough about this dog, superb temperament, obedient, intelligent, friendly and loving. Layla is also a talker, sometimes when I stop petting her she talks to tell me she wants more 'rooo...rooo... rooo.' She is irresistable so it usually works and she gets even more petting from me! She's got very good inside doggie manners, just lies quietly at my feet while I'm on the computer or watching TV, never has any accidents inside the house, never bothers anything, we never crate her or restrict her inside the house because there's no need. She's gentle with the kids, submissive to my other dogs, pretty much ignores the cats. Likes to roll over on her back for bellyrubs. Layla is just a joy to have around and she will make a wonderful companion for a family who loves the breed.'To adopt please fill out an adoption application. For more information about our adoption procedures and fees, please visit our homepage at Good Dog Rescue. For more information or if your have questions email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
