Hugo is our 10 month old owner surrender from a back yard breeder. He came to us because the nasty breeder wouldn’t pay for the surgery he needed and couldn’t sell him. Both his femur bones do not fit in his hip sockets but you would never know he was in pain based on his energy and love. Poor guy; he’s in so much pain he can’t even sit down and when he lays down his legs splay out, we have him on pain meds right now andthat is helping him. Hugo will have his first surgery on Monday, Jan 25th; need two weeks of down time and after that, 6 weeks of building up that good leg in order to go under again for his next surgery. We will be of course taking care of those surgeries but we would like to get him into a new home after the two week recovery on his first leg, where someone will foster to adopt him until he is completely recovered on both legs. He is a ball of energy at the same time just wants to snuggle with you and be taken care of. He will follow you around everywhere and be your best friend. If you believe your heart is big enough to have the time necessary for his recovery, you will get the bestest friend ever.
