Description:
9397289 Meet Betty. You might find her appearance a bit startling at first. Yes, she is a one-eyed dog. And she's quite a large one-eyed dog at that. But she seems to find as much joy in the world through her single eye as any other dog gets through two eyes. Betty is a big fluffy love muffin with the personality of a gregarious and outgoing child. She's all bounce and fun, already best friends with her young and somewhat petite kennel mate, and she deserves a chance to be part of a family just as much as any other beautiful dog. Betty used to live out in the country, but she was tethered and confined to a small area where she received limited interaction. Now that she lives at HES, she seems to relish the attention she gets from staff and volunteers because of her very special look. But she really is ready to go home-she does miss the fresh country air, and would love a place to run. But please, don't take Betty home unless you truly plan to give her daily love and hugs, and room to romp without any tethers around her neck. If you can give her the home she's been waiting for, you are certain to be rewarded with years of love and laughter. The $85 adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including Rabies and Bordetella) and a Home Again Microchip. What a great deal!! Hamilton County residents pay an additional $3 for the animal registration fee.
