See Dixie's Homepage Dixie thinks she’s a contestant in the “Last Rottweiler Standing” contest…….she is quite the comedian !! Her best joke ever is the “play dead when you want her to go out to potty” routine !! That doesn’t mean she’s not housetrained, just stubborn……. She is super well behaved, and has gone to town with her foster mom, where she has received lots of compliments !! Dixie’s foster mom has spent quality time with her, teaching her many commands and socializing her with other dogs and people. It is really paying off, as Dixie was pretty shy before…….and now she is becoming a social butterfly ! Dixie loves her crate because it provides a feeling of security, she still has a little trouble reading cues from other dogs and she is pretty active. So, her perfect new home should include a crate of her very own, shouldn’t have a dominant dog and should have a companion who walks daily or hikes. Please consider Dixie………….and that’s no joke !!!
