Pretty Penelope is another sweet baby who has lost her home to divorce. Initially adopted as a tiny puppy from the shelter she is now a year old and doesn't understand why her owners don't want her anymore. She tried so hard to please them and make them happy. She played with the other dog there and she loved their six year old son but it didn't matter how loving and well behaved she was - they just didn't want her (or each other) and did everything they could to push her away . Penelope is so pretty and such a gentle spirit. She used to get a bit scared and shy at the adoption events but now she wags her tail and literally jumps up and down for attention. All she wants to do is please and have a warm and loving home that she can call her own forever. She literally glues to her 'person', so much so that we call her the velcro puppy for how bonded she is to the volunteer who rescued her. Penelope weighs about 45lbs, is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed and micro-chipped. She loves other dogs and kids but we're not entirely sure how she feels about cats as she has never ben around them.
