Maggie is a one year old, female Rhodesian Ridgeback-Redbone Coonhound cross who came to Second Chance because she has a hard time living in a busy neighborhood with people coming and going all the time. Before that busy and eventful home, Maggie lived with an older dog for six months who disliked her puppy behavior immensely. A sweet girl, Maggie takes her time when warming up to new people, but when she knows you, she is all affection and jumps! Basic obedience, leash manners and extensive socialization will be required training for her. We recommend an active and quiet, adult only home, where someone can spend a lot of time with her since she is so needy. Other dogs may be possible upon introduction, but we do not, however, recommend a home with cats.
