Hi! My name is Sebastian. I'm a real ladies guy; I love to play and really love the ladies! All the female doggies think that I am the greatest. I can play chase, I am learning how to play ball, and I love getting back rubs and new treats. I am looking for a very special home, which has a “mom” who will be with me all day. I admit that I will need time to learn to trust people, but I am so worth all the time it will take. I am looking for someone who is kind, because my last master was not. Is there someone out there who will take the time to let me get to know and trust them? I really hope so. I really want to be someone's dog! I am ready to meet that special person and become your special friend. Are you the one? Sebastian is 5 years old, neutered, micro chipped and has all of his vaccines. As stated, he likes the gals, so a female dog in the home would be a plus, but he will not do well if there is a male dog in his new family. He needs a large yard to play in, with a 6 -foot high block fence. Sebastian is still timid and skittish and when he's frightened, he doesn't show any aggression at all: he just runs! He can jump a high fence when aggressively chased, as we learned when a pushy little cocker spaniel decided she didn't want him around. He absolutely cannot be an outdoor dog, nor can he be outside at all without a leash, until he learns to trust his owner and feel secure in his new home. Sebastian needs a home where people are there during the day and will give him confidence he needs to be the Successful Pet that all dogs deserve to be, as he was surely meant to be. We are teaching him how to play, as that was evidently not part of his prior life. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, has been de-wormed, Front-lined against fleas and ticks, and tested negative for tick fever and also negative for heartworm. His teeth are sound, too!
