Description:
Hello there- My name is Connor and I came to APARN on December 30th 2009. I have only been in foster care for a short time and I sure love all of the attention. I came to APARN from the shelter and I am glad that they picked me up. I was not feeling well at all and I needed medication to get better. Thanks to APARN I got to see a vet right away and I am already starting to feel a little bit better. I had an ear infection and a yeast infection. My tummy was bloated from eating garbage and other things you find living on the streets. In addition to my medication, I also get special baths 3-4 times a week until my fur grows in nice and shiny. While I was staying at the vetÂs office I was also neutered and the vet estimates that I am about 11months old. I am still a baby my foster mom says! I sure am glad that I get to eat real dog food twice a day now and that I have clean water to drink. My stomach is less bloated already and I am slowly getting stronger and am filling out a bit here and there. You see, when I first moved in with my foster family, my hip bones and ribs were showing. I sure enjoy the food here and a treat here and there is great too! I am currently living with foster mom and dad, 3 human children and some other fur-children, and I get along with everyone. I especially enjoy the company of the children and other dogs in the home. I am still a bit hand-shy but I am slowly gaining trust. Once in a while I will wag my little tail in delight or enjoy a tummy rub. I love to play with toys although I am still learning the proper Âplay etiquetteÂ. I do get over exited sometimes and confuse the toys with someoneÂs arms or hands. I am not aggressive at all - just very exited and play biting. IÂm sure I will learn quickly though. My foster home has a doggy door and I am slowly trying to use it. At first I was quite afraid of it. I am still learning how to use the bathroom outside. Mom says I will catch on soon, and I know she will be proud of me then! I am looking forward to my very own forever home. What a success story that would be! I know there is a lot I still need to learn but I am willing and exited. After all, I am still a baby, right? Love, Connor My adoption fee is $325.00
