Charlie has big beautiful eyes. Charlie was rescued from a puppy mill where he was used as breeding stock for many years, kept in terrible conditions. Charlie is terrified of most people, especially men, but when he knows you and trusts you, he is a most loving little poodle that wants to sit on your lap all the time. Charlie does not really know how to play with toys since he was kept in a confined space for so many years. Charlie walks very well on a leash. He needs a person or couple (preferably retired) that can give him lots of love and attention and make him feel safe. Charlie has came a long way on his housebreaking and now goes in and out into a fenced in yard through a doggie door but still has occasional accidents. Charlie cannot be left outside - he is an inside dog only. Charlie is in desperate need of a dental, so currently needs to eat soft food. Charlie deserves to have a great forever home. Charlie's adoption fee is $200.
