A beautiful, eager to please dog named Sissy is looking for a home. She is about 2 years old, a Pointer/Greyhound mix, and runs like the wind. But she still behaves correctly when in the house, she doesn't jump on the furniture or knock anything over. Shy but not distrustful, Sissy takes a bit to get to know a stranger but becomes affectionate and eager to please almost immediately. She has gorgeous brown eyes. Sissy learned many new commands in her foster home, including 'Come,' 'Sit,' and 'Home,' which means come back inside. Sissy enjoys a good cowhoof to chew on. She is housebroken and likes to cuddle. It's good to be careful, though, because she cowers when voices are raised or when large objects are waved about. She seems to think someone might harm her, but gentle reassurance helps her through. Sissy is sensitive, so only calm correction is needed and she's glad to obey. If Sissy had an ideal home, it would be a home with a family who liked to play 'fetch,' who don't mind an oversized lap dog, and who are patient, so she learns to trust gradually. With a belly rub at least once a day, to keep the doctors away. And, perhaps, a squirrel to chase, just for fun, now and then.
