SPAYED AND NEUTERED!
WE NEED A GENTLE, KIND HOME!
The Pit Bull term is commonly used to describe several breeds of dog in the Molosser Family. The word Pit Bull refers to the modern American Pit Bull Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and other dogs with mixes of these breeds. These dogs were used to hunt and drive livestock and as a wonderful family companion. They were a very strong dog.
Today American Pit Bull Terriers successfully fill the role of a companion dog, police dog and therapy dog though in general they do have a higher tendency toward dog aggression and constitute the majority of dogs used for illegal dog fighting in the United States.
With proper training and kindness these dogs can be an asset to your family home.
HERE IS THEIR STORY:
I rescued Big Daddy that was tied up to a fence to fight other pit bulls on the other side of the fence. HIS PUPPY WAS THROWN INTO THE YARD AS BAIT!! :( I was able to unlock the fence & quickly run in to save the pup from the dogs inside the yard. I quickly exited the yard with the pup & then cautiously untied Big Daddy from the fence and managed to lure them into my car with dog treats. Later on that evening, I found the mommy pit bull with another pup that looked exactly like the other pup, roaming the railroad tracks on the other side of the container yard. I was able to attach a leash on the mommy and picked up the pup and reunited the pit bull family. I am looking for anyone that is willing to offer any help towards fostering and or adopting them. ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER DOGS may be around these 2 adult lovebirds, other than each other. They have their recent vaccinations, all dogs are spayed & neutered. Please contact Laurie at 310-292-2430. There is a small donation/application fee if interested. Thank you so much.
