Description:
Please contact Ami Ciontos (amiela@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Rosie's story... Rosie was half dead from starvation when she was found walking down a busy Atlanta street. She has obviously been bred a few times and has some scars. I don't know that she has been fought, but I do believe that she has had to fend for herself, which can be a hard thing for a little lady of only 45 lbs to do! Rosie tested positive for heartworms, but received treatment 6 months ago and now has a clean bill of health. She is very good with all people, but will initially bark and bounce around when meeting new dogs. At first we thought she was dog aggressive, but it turns out that she is just not really used to dogs. After only a few months with us she lives peacefully with 3 male pit bulls and a female chihuahua mix. She adores them. The pictures with this listing show her progress. Picture # 1 is from the day we found her, and picture # 3 is the most recent. She is a fantastic little dog that deserves to be shown what it's like to be a loved and cherished pet.
