Suzy is a pretty, young adult brindle dog and is more than ready to settle in to her forever home! She is very friendly andaffectionate, and really bonds with people who treat her like she is special (which she IS). She gets very excited at the thought that you might be coming over to pet her. She has a good heart and is very sweet and loving. Her eyes are very expressive as well.
Suzy was at LCAS for a long time but is now in a foster home with Renee. Renee is excellent at working with dogs, and Suzy is getting plenty of education and learning her commands! She has lots of fun with other dogs and gets along well with male dogs and non-dominant female dogs. She is probably a bit too interested in cats to do well in a home with them.
Her foster family said this about Suzy: 'Basically she is a very active loving dog. She loves to play with ropes and can entertain herself for hours. Suzy likes to swim at the river too. I would say that wherever she is placed she would be great for someone that jogs, or bikes, someone that likes to get out and get some exercise. She is very athletic. When first approached she is all wiggly and loves to give kisses. She would probably be too active for small children but older kids would be a great combination.'
We're sure Suzy will make a wonderful pet for a lucky family! If you are interested in meeting Suzy, please contact Save The Pets: email@example.com or 541-683-PETS. Or contact her foster Renee: firstname.lastname@example.org
