Mary is a 40 lb. Pit Bull Terrier that was found by a good Samaritan in a parking lot on a cold wintery December night. When they found her, she was extremely thin, one of her front legs was swollen, and she had an upper respiratory infection. She went through extensive testing, was placed on intravenous fluids, and started on antibiotics and pain medication immediately. As soon as our friends at Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital got her feeling better they pampered her with a doggy bubble bath, manicure and pedicure! Although Mary’s history is unknown, we can tell that she loves people and is a really very happy girl – she even has the tail wag to prove it! She is currently in foster care and her foster parents are working with her on training. We highly recommend that her new home enroll her in a positive reinforcement obedience class to help train/learn and to bond with her new family.
