Cassius - known around here as CASH - is a young adult brindle male pit mix approx. 2 years old.He is an energetic, ball fetching bundle of love who came to me in Sept. 08.He had been found as a stray, was not adopted and his time was up so the dog warden contacted me to see if I could help out. I couldn't help but fall in love with him as soon as we met. We have no idea of his past history but we're sure he has a bright future with a loving family!He is around cats and will chase them if he can, but doesn't try to hurt them. He would make an ideal companion for a family with another dog but a fenced yard is a must - He is very good natured and gets along with most other dogs.He would not be a good candidate for a home with very small children ONLY because of his high energy level and need for obedience training. He loves people and gives wonderful,slobbery kisses. He loves to be outside on nice days but comes in and out through the doggie door -just to be sure we're still there.He has been neutered and microchipped and he is already current on his vaccinations. He deserves to go to a family that is interested in continued training, as his intelligence and desire to please would need to be utilized or he could become frustrated - he knows a few basic commands already (sit, drop it). He is the ideal dog for someone who is interested in continued training to fine tune his wonderful attributes. He is not a coach potato dog looking just to lie quietly at someone's feet while they read the newspaper. We feel he will be an incredibly loyal dog to the person who adopts him, highly motivated to learn what you expect of him and to please you.Please consider giving CASH his forever home - he is just a diamond in the rough!
